Gerald Eve has been named as the Industrial Adviser of the Year at the 2016 Estates Gazette Awards, recognising a stellar 12 months for the firm’s industrial and logistics team.
Judges for the awards praised Gerald Eve’s partner-led approach, noting its ability to punch above its weight in advising on lettings, land sales, £450m of trophy investment deals and more than 2.5 million sq ft of speculative development.
Simon Prichard, senior partner of Gerald Eve, said: “Even by its own high standards, our industrial and logistics team has had a remarkable couple of years, and this award is testament to its fantastic efforts and a partner-led approach that provides clients with only the very best in advice. Industrial property has long been a strength of Gerald Eve, and it is the firm’s abilities across disciplines including market-leading research, agency, investment, development and business rates that really make it stand out from the crowd.”
The award was presented to Gerald Eve’s industrial team at a gala ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in central London, attended by the leading lights of the property industry.
Richard Ludlow, partner at Gerald Eve, said: “This win confirms Gerald Eve’s place at the forefront of the industrial and logistics property market. Our understanding of the sector, partner-led approach and multi-disciplinary expertise give us a unique insight into the market, and this is reflected in the advice we give to blue-chip names – both owners and occupiers – on the sector’s largest deals and instructions.”
